ST. LOUIS, April 14, 2022 – Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that its Stifel Independent Advisors broker-dealer subsidiary has bolstered its recruiting team with the hiring of Ted Desautels, Matthew Hill, and Chad Hawblitzel.  The three professionals will be responsible for recruiting experienced financial advisors to Stifel Independent Advisors. 

Mr. Desautels joins the firm as Director of Regional Recruiting, responsible for the eastern U.S.  He comes to Stifel from Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet), where he spent more than 12 years as Director of Products & Services and Associate Regional Director.  He will be supported by Mr. Hill as Associate Regional Recruiter. 

Mr. Hawblitzel also holds the title of Associate Regional Recruiter.  He will support Rob Welch, Director of Regional Recruiting, who handles the western U.S.
